The kids and I got up this morning anticipating great weather or at least warm weather. I checked weather.com and the high was supposed (note supposed) to be in the 70s. We got bathed and dressed with peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches to boot. I load everyone up in the car and pull out of the garage. Wait....the thermostat must be wrong....53 degrees? I pull back in the garage and tell the kids mommy has to change into some pants. O.k. back in the car. First stop the library. Luke and Charlotte loved the "big trees" growing in the children's area. Then there was much fun to be had in Clifford's (as in the dog) house. Mommy was hoping to find a good book on gardening, veggies that is but Luke and Charlotte had other plans. I chased them around the downstairs and upstairs. At least they were not loud. :) Next stop Trowbridges for a light lunch (still too cold to eat our PB&J's at the park) and of course chocolate ice cream. Wal-Mart was next on our agenda. Charlotte had a special day and got her ears pierced. She looks quite cute and she likes to see them in the mirror. A day in town on the weekend would not be complete without a trip to Deibert Park. Luke is getting so big, he is playing on the "bigger" kids equipment and can roam like a big boy. Charlotte found her favorite activity, swinging, very quickly and loved seeing how high she could go...with the help of mommy of course. A final stop at the park in Killen for Emily's softball game wrapped up our morning/afternoon activities. Home again, home again, jiggidy jog. NAP TIME! :) Dinner came from T-N-T and was quite delicious....and a movie to wrap up our night. The kids are exhausted and settled in for the night. Now it is quiet time for mommy.
